Yes! It’s finally here, my own official website w00t!
I intend to centralize all of my current media outlets around this site so this will be the best place for anyone to get updates from me about my music and where things are going with it.
As my very first post on this blog, I think I’m going to begin by a review of all my work thus far. This site is very much in progress and I hope to have a good amount of content up soon….
Okay, so here is my story. My name is John Danowski. I’m a 20 year-old electronic music producer trying to make it in todays industry. I am mostly self taught. For a number of years I was very much into CGI and other forms of digital graphics design. I can use Photoshop fairly well, I can video edit. I know a little bit about webdesign (though not much, mostly just css and html) and of course, these days, I spend most of my time creating music.
I’ve had some limited success on youtube in the past. I used to run the channel http://youtube.com/djt0nic but eventually I changed my artist name to trancecrafter and so my work can currently be found here.
For the past 4 years, I have been constantly improving upon my music and shaping my style into something more diverse and unique. I recently signed with EML Recordings, a small but decent record company with a great contract. My eventual goal is to do this for a living. I am still unsure as to which direction I will go in. At this point I have many options, though my REAL dream is to be released onto a label such as Armada. I understand these are very high goals but I have high expectations for myself and I think that if I put in enough work, anything is possible
Right now I’m mostly focused on getting an album put together to showcase my work, something I can send to record companies as an example of what I can accomplish. I have done many tutorial videos in the past and I know some of you have been asking about this so here is my official answer: don’t worry. Many more tutorials are definitely on their way, I just need to put my mind on these projects I have going first, and once I release my album I intend to record more instructional videos on how to do what it is I do.
For those of you wondering, I use FL Studio to create all of my music (though with the help of such plugins as sylenth1)
Okay I think this is good for my first post but I’ll definitely be updating this blog soon. Eventually I’m hoping to have everything set up in such a way that most of my updates will be through here, so yeah the best place to check up on the latest developments would be here.
more coming on its way!
